AEO for local and service businesses
For a clinic, a law office or any business people find by asking "who is the best one near me", the audit checks whether AI engines can tell exactly who you are and where you are: your name, address and phone number, your LocalBusiness structured data, whether the AI crawlers can reach your site, and whether the engines name you when asked.
In the free scan
- A crawl of up to 50 pages, scored on the structure answer engines can read: direct answers, entity clarity, structured data, readability and more.
- Whether your site identifies the business in structured data (Organization, LocalBusiness or Person) and uses its name consistently.
- Whether your robots.txt blocks the AI search crawlers (OAI-SearchBot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot and others), plus your sitemap and llms.txt.
- One live answer from an AI engine to a question built from your own site, such as "Who is the best physiotherapist in Toronto?", and whether it named you. Why one answer is a sample, not a rate.
With a monthly plan: your locations
You record each location's name, street address, city, region, postal code, country and phone number (Starter covers 1 location, Pro unlimited locations). Every audit then compares them field by field with the structured data on your site and flags each mismatch, with a wrong postal code, phone number or street ranked above the rest. We read business types including LocalBusiness, MedicalClinic, Dentist, Physician, Physiotherapy, LegalService, Attorney, ProfessionalService, Store and Restaurant.
You also choose the questions to track, such as "best physiotherapist in Leslieville", and we ask every engine on a schedule. Put the place in the question: the engines are not told where the asker is.
In the one-off audit's implementation kit
- LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage and Person (for practitioners named on your site) structured data, built from your own pages and ready to paste.
- Your name, address and phone number compared with your Google, Yelp and Yellow Pages (Canada) listings, when your canonical details are on file. Where your Google listing is matched with confidence, its rating and review count go into AggregateRating markup.
- A review-request template with your Google review link when your Google listing is matched, and setup steps for your booking system when we detect one: Jane App, Cliniko, Acuity Scheduling, Calendly, Mindbody, SimplePractice, Noterro, Owl Practice.
- Rewritten titles and meta descriptions, an llms.txt and the fixes in priority order.
Prices are on the pricing page.
What we do not check (yet)
- Opening hours, service areas and map coordinates.
- Your Google Business Profile itself: we compare against your public Google listing.
- Directories other than Google, Yelp and Yellow Pages Canada.
- Answers as a person in your city would see them in the ChatGPT or Gemini apps.
